I agree too Leigh's defence was shocking but we would stll have won but for some odd refereeing decisions.

Bet we still win the league' a minor hiccup which will soon be rectified.

We usually start well but this season we have decided to wait awhile.

Frank's section 17 leave cert has expired. If anyone see's him stick him with zuclopenthixol acuphase and return to Rampton Hospital ASAP! He is deluded and a danger to himself!

Don't know about fabricated crowd Lynda. I'm not usually far off with the estimate and we all reckoned well over 2k at HT. The gate receipts are reported to be healthy enough as was the secondary income so I can't really comment otherwise.

However, Fev didn't set the rules for a licence application. Like Fax's legendary 4.7k crowd v Batley t'other year, I didn't blame them for playing the game with the figures and justifying an average 2.5k crowd. They didn't set the rules... the RFL did. I didn't see owt wrong with that.

The RFL have created a system where clubs bust a gut and are encouraged to lie only to be let down by the RFL at the end. I wish Fev well but I sadly cant see the RFL allowing them in SL no matter if they average 2500 or not. I just cant see the RFL having the balls to kick out wakey or cas unless something major happens like bankrupcy.

The RFL committed to promoting at least one Championship side so long as they meet the criteria. At present Fev, Sheffield and Leigh have met the on field req. If Fev somehow manage to meet the off field requirements they will be the best of the bunch. However the RFL announce the criteria at the last moment so they could easily make the average attendance requirement 5k.

Ralph Rimmer has been in Toulouse this past week-wouldnt be to help them prepare for SL would it?
