That's correct, Aston was doing the pre-season low down on Radio Leeds and said they'd be using the NRC as their pre-season.

Good all round display by Leigh today , totally dominated a poor Sheffield side , gave our first penalty away in the 63 rd minute , they scored after hilly got binned for a let tackle , and we had 3 trys disallowed all were close decisions

Looking forward to the 1st test against Fev in 3weeks time

Nice 1 mate I thought for a mo I was talking about history rather than this season. Only took an hiccup or two though before I spotted it. Us Leythers are realists and real smart.

Didn't they say that last year? but when they beat us on that thursday (or whatever midweek day it was) claim they were taking it very seriously that year

Well if he said that publicly he should be hauled over the coals for bringing the comp into disrepute. How the hell are supposed to get major sponsors to back our leagues when there are idiotic statements like that put out. I don't have any sympathy for Sheff or Worky for saying crap like this. Next they will be blaming the RFL for there being no sponsors. Sorry I think they should be fined just like the Blackpool manager was for fielding an under strength side.
