I'll put you out of your misery (Apologies to all who actually know there Fax history)
Standidge refers to the great George Standidge. He played for Halifax in 81/82 and was the classic hard-man prop forward. Many tales have been told of his on field and off field fierceness. He was my boyhood hero and I've had the pleasure of meeting him many years after retiring from the game.
A true great.
