Good Job it's only 2 points in the Franchise/Licence biddy thingy then isn't it  Sorry....away fans is "nil" points in the Licencing procedure!

Seriously guys.....in 2003 you averaged 2,976 fans compared to the fulhamcrusaderbroncoquins average of 3,547. 570 more fans at each game and if you're going to say they were all away fans....then why did these superdooper RL heartland fans travel 200 odd miles each way to watch us and dodge the more local "traditional" fixture

Oh...by the way....if you are going to say "Halifax were rubbish and getting hammered and that's why we had rubbish crowds, then I point you in the direction of Catalans year 1 (6,862) finished bottom and Celtic year 1 so far (3,700) going to finish bottom.

Lastly my flatcapped whippet loving pigeon fanciers...........I would love to see the dummy spit from your 500 travelling fans        If SLY TV were to move your game in 2lose when 95% of people booked their trips when the fixtures come out. There are close to 70 Quins fans alone who will actually be on a Ryanair plane when the game kicks off.

Still, would love to see you and Widnes back in Superleague as the majority of your fans are top people.

Come on now even the most biased fan can admit that Quinns crowds are an embarassment. I mean with all that catchment area to their selves you would think they may get a few more in the gates. At least the Cats have had the crowds to justify a place in SL.

Let's get real, we won't take that many, but I'd suggest that we'll take at least as many (or more) as other Championship clubs (our away support is probably second only to Widnes?)

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

We took around 250

Dont know how that stacks up with others up to now

Would expect Widnes to be top dogs with us , you and Fev next all around a similar amount

Then again , who gives a stuff , the surrender monkeys should not be in our competition , as Alex's dad posted on our site maybe we could have a ' themed ' day when we play them

We take rostbif and they bring white flags

We'll have to use VT logic to settle this.

Are there likely to be more people from fax or london in the whole of france in the whole month the ties are being played in?

London. And any stayaways are the fault of chippy northern fans holding them back and not the complete nonexistence of Harlequins support.

Didn't say we weren't a disgrace on the crowd front. Never have defended the clubs inability to attract bums on seats either, but what I did do, was respond to the friendly visit by the original poster who decided to start the same conversation on our board.
On the topic of crowds....please feel free to re-read the first line of my post above.........if you still don't understand the licence process, essentially, you get 1 point for 40% capacity and 1 point for a 10k average....the rest are awarded for youth development, competitiveness, decent ground etc..etc........therefore, we got in on merit.
I do appreciate your concern about our crowds, but please rest assured, we are OK with the SKY wedge and have cut our cloth accordingly (this time  )

I have no qualms about the Bronquins travelling support, to be honest, how many of us could or even would travel 200 miles to a game every other week? A credit to their club the away travellers are, never had any grief off them and are just as much 'traditional' rugby fans as our neighbours along the M62 corridor who we have had trouble with in the past.

It's the poor home attendances which are the real dissappointment. The move from Griffin Park back to the Stoop was met with the fans as negative as they said most of the fans lived in close proximity to the ground and were settled, whereas the club said the fans would flock to the new idendity at a 'permanant' ground. This really hasn't happened.

On the pitch though they do play great rugby with an ever growing number of Englishman and Londoners coming into the first team.

I'm not going to Toulouse this weekend, does that make me as bad as the Bronquins fans who aren't going to the South of France?
