48 16. In all honesty a terrible game. Leigh are so poor. We gifted them three tries. Things don't look good for leigh which is a shame as they are good club even if they do have hobson. But they are amateur... I can't see them recovering to stay up.

Leigh were awful tonight but I don't want them to go down.

They have a good following and I enjoy the games against them

I wish they would sort their discipline out as it really let's them down. Hobson needs no further mention, but Ian Mort stood out by stamping on Dave Larders back when he was already held down by 4 defenders on their line and he quickly followed that up by kickingout at Gleese after he touched down.
The red had a word with him but if he'd seen the first incident he should have been off.

You've got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how ya gonna have a dream come true?

Are you claiming all you are entitled to? www.debtadvicenetwork.org then go to "Self Help" then "Benefits & Entitlements".

Do you think Mort is p!$$ed off because he's chosen not to take a contract with Fax and he's regretting it

I used to rate him highly but after tonight's display I would not want him in the Fax squad.

Hobson got taken off due to his addiction to penalties - he never learns.

What a fat waste of space!!! He gifted us field position a few times in the 1st half & we scored on the back of it. Same happened as soon as he came on in the 2nd half!

He really is stealing a wage from them!

A victory against a poor Leigh side but a haphazzard performance. Pro players should NOT miss kicks for touch - it's criminal ! I think we're going to struggle to finish top based on that performance tonight. Defence was sound but ball possession was dire. We give away too much cheap ball. I bet the completion rate didn't get above 50% in the second half. We'll have to be much cleverer in a fortnight against the Frenchies.

Andy Hobson? What is he all about? He's a penalty machine and he's so easy to wind up. Ryan MacDonald looks like Mother Theresa compared to him.

Very subdued atmosphere but the players deserved that after last week. Play great, take the plaudits, play shiite, take the flak. Summary ... hobson and nanyn are a waste of space ... surely there's a kid in the Leigh juniors who could do better than that nobstik hobson, probably sums up rowleys coaching skills. Also noted ... after a great start ... the standard in NL has dipped, Barrow and Widnes look craap as do we .. the likes of leigh look appalling. But having said that I use the word "craap" in the loosest sense ... the players are trying their nackers off, for example the first half was a tremendous effort, but there's no confidence or zip at the mo. But keep plugging away lads, we luv yer! :)
