That scoreline flattered Halifax who looked they didn't want to be there. Very very clumsy in attack. I reckon your lot have peaked too soon. A rip roaring start to the season will end in a whimper for Halifax, mark my words.

Hardly the best game to judge a side on.

Even Bob Beswick and Matt Calland admitted that they were way off the pace. So many of those errors were unforced. An on form side at the top of the table would have took Doncaster apart.

Played cr@p and won 36-4....

Yes, we were awful with the ball, but defensively we were much sounder than some previous games.

An awful game for TV...

...still, top of the league (how our expectations have changed...!!)

I thought Doncaster's defence was pretty sound tonight. If we'd scored a few tries early doors they may have crumbled, but it did take the odd quality (or risky!) pass or dummy to get past them.

Agree though, that if Fax had been "on fire" the score may have been embarrassing.

A slump in form is better now than at the end of the season....

Very Frustrating game to watch , ball control was very poor , some of the time it was like some of the set plays had never been used before with players either running past the ball or the ball passed behind the oncoming player , but overall a wins a win and playing badly and winning is key to any possible succsess this year.
