Hope without planning is about as futile as waiting for a harvest without planting

THE FIRST THING TO MAKE A DREAM COME TRUE,IS TO WAKE UP
True but he but he put some big hits in when everyone else looked dead on their feet. I thought (and I understand I was probably watching a different match judging by what everyone else has said) Worrincy was pretty rubbish. Not great in making tackles when it counted, creating gaps but then running in to the defender, and running sideways instead of forwards. Not to bash the lad, pretty much everyone was rubbish, it's just what I noticed.
I can-not understand you nameing one player, who in your opinion was rubbish, when the majority of posts put him in the top 3 for MOM. Obviously you have an opinion like everyone else so lets have you say, by nameing if you dare, who else you think was rubbish. Or just say the the whole team was bad. No need to single one player out.
There was a bloke behind me inthe Skircoat who spent the whole game calling Worrincy lazy & not getting involved in tackles etc.... everyone see's different games, but I agree, not fair to say one player was bad, I have said James was falling off tackles in a previous post, but used him as an example rather than just saying he was only one.

Remember John Burnett saying the same about Johnny Freeman he said "It`s not true Johnny Freeman played at Thrum Hall, he only ever played on a 3ft strip of it.Johnny laughed and agreed with him saying thats right I was once or twice told by the coach to come in to the middle more and I refused. He said I wasn`t going to get tackled that`s why I scored so many tries .
A few times yesterday worrincy was left 2 on 1. If he'd have jumped into the tackle then they would have passed it round him and scored. He tried to slow them up yesterday by holding back and probably stopped a couple of scores that way.

Which is what made me ask the question. I don't think he did anything stand out but it was a team effort to lose that one. At least I don't stand on the terrace hurling abuse the players, that helps no one.
I don't understand this slating of individual players after what is technically our first defeat, I distinctly heard fans booing where we were stood to the left of the south stand at sunday's game, we actually passed comment that it doesn't take long !
I think we were beaten mentally more than in the forwards. It seemed we thought we could just turn up and win but Sheffield are a tough side who always raise their game against us
