Head to the melting pot. Its about 100 metres away from Joan d'Arc metro and bus station. Irish bar that sells cheapish beer and guiness. We all spent most of our time in there.

Another bar is the Frog and Rostbif. They will play the Friday night game in either bar.

avoid place wilson if you want cheap beers, got 4 halves and it came to 16euros

The beer is very expensive over 5 Euros and usually 6 at most places a not always full pint - ouch, so get some bottles at a supermarket for a few before going out.
The Melting Pot is good but a better starting point is the English bar the George & Dragon, nice guy runs it. There are not many just bars in the centre as most are cafe bars, nice if its sunny like Saturday was where you can sit out.
As you are not playing at the same venue cannot comment on where you can drink at the ground.

You wont have a problem after a Pastis, stick with the mentioned boozers though for the main part and have a little wander, its a cracking place.. and just about anywhere is good for a swifty.

If it's a TV game and they're playing at Blagnac then Heineken is 5E a pint in the ground (cheapest pint we had all weekend when we were there!) but you can get 4 cans of Kronenbourg for 2E from the supermarkets and they've no problem in you taking cans in to the ground.

Or, cheaper still, drink wine!

They did when we were there. We had to drink them quickly outside the ground!

It's at this point that I shall admit that I hadn't twigged on about French sports licensing laws being completely different to the UK, and supped two cans outside the ground, only to notice upon paying 20E for a round in the stadium that everyone else had just lugged in a crate or two
