After the game he went out of his way to get a couple of signatures off players while they were getting changed for my nephew and neice. Really appreciate the effort and kindness he showed.
Top bloke.
Although Dave Larder was looking a bit out of it outside the changing rooms. He was taking some painkillers and catching his breath. Hope he's ok and nothing too serious.

Top man, he came right over to the fax fans today aswell to thank us for our support. Keep up the good work Matt.
Him, Hally, Bally & Martin Gonzalez are looking after me in my role with the scholarship as well as the office staff and the directors of the club, not to mention Malfax. There really is a big buzz around the place at the moment.

Incidentally, how long is Calland, Hall, Ball and Gonzalez contracted to us? We need them all here for at least the next 3 years and SL if we get there so we have that extra firm footing.

Totally agree, consistency and stability is what we need if we want to build.
Over the past 5 seasons or so, we've picked up a lot of players on 1 year deals, we need to be tieing the better players down for 2 or more I think (this has been done with some already)
Indeed, I apologise, the players do seem a lot fitter and the noise coming from the players from regulars like Paterson to fringe players like Andy Bowman is extremely pleasing. We may not be running a reserve team but the players who have stepped in look miles fitter than they would have done in the same circumstances last year.
Don't think many teams in this league have as good a coaching setup as ours, makes me feel proud
If Halifax was coached by someone like Wayne Bennet or Tony Smith this message board would be inundated with posts in awe of the coach. Mat Calland and Martin Hall IMO get far too few a mention. Best coaching set up since the great Chris Anderson? Why not? Utmost respect for you guys!
