Doesn’t touch the table when passing it around the table to the left and you pour the port for the person on your left.

Been places where the decanter doesn’t leave the table, and others where it doesn’t touch it, both have their plus and minus points. Also places with the rule ‘a lady doesn’t pour her own port’ - that was interesting pouring 4 then getting it to the next gentleman along without it touching the table

We had the ladies didn’t pour their own as well
