Close game like most of us predicted and it was a good advert for the Championship for perspective TV broadcaster.
Thought we just about deserved it over the 80.

Bit of a surprise at the lack of response to today's performance/result - thought we were excellent first half, and while not the only reason for the dip in performance 2nd half loss of JWH definitely affected the balance of the team. Thought Harris was excellent, especially first half, and while not normally his biggest fan thought Mcgrath had his best ever game, coping with a load of pressure on his wing as well as popping up with a try.

Enjoyed the game, thought your backs were much better than Haven's. Scott Grix was superb, Liam Harris was a constant threat, and Robinson looked good when he came on. Obviously your pack was good also, but when you threw the ball out wide you looked a threat. The same can't be said of Whitehaven, despite the 2nd half scoreline.

As I thought, that was a great game of rugby league, the best at The Shay this season. We did the damage with a fantastic first half performance and although 'haven fought back in the second forty I always thought we had enough to see them off. The atmosphere was really good, helped by a great set of fans from Cumberland who really got behind their team, well done to all. Let's hope Fax can get theirselves up for another big game at Fev next Saturday. It will obviously be a tough one but we've done it before and we can do it again. Up The Fax!

Cracking performance that after the way we had been playing. I think we looked in control for the majority of the game and Haven had the benefit of a couple of 50/50 calls that on another day could have easily gone the other way. What a season for Haven and their fans made it a really good atmsophere at the game yesterday and Im sure it was a good game for the TV audience as well. As it turned out the 19 man squad was correct with Barber been in a leg brace so looks like his season is probably done but Worthing ton playing through his shoulder injury and a few more carrying knocks. Hopefully JWH can make it to next weeks game as he has the quality to create things against a big Fev team.

On to next week and you know what I just have a funny feeling that we might cause a surprise with nothing to lose and another step up in prize money to gain.

I agree I don’t think it’ll be as wider margin score as last time , half of fevs ’ tries last time were either bizarre or avoidable cut down on the errors and if we’re still in it with 15 to go we have a chance, a small chance but still .

Really enjoyed the atmosphere at the game and Whitehaven certainly contributed to that there fans were a credit to there club. As for the game i thought harris made a difference to our attack offering balance we tend to favour our left side but he brought a threat to our right side which makes us a harder side to defend against. As for next week i see with some bookies we have got a 28 point start even thou i know we are up against it i will be very disappointed if we lose by that margin or more. The start is key for me i think fev will come out all guns blazing trying to blow us away early doors we after weather the storm and then give them something to think about in return if we can and that is a big if then who knows what could happen we need to put some doubt in there minds.
