By the lack of enthusiasm on this site this morning (+7 gmt) that Fax 's win yesterday was anything but convincing.
Is it,a win is a win or was it really dire?

Aye, a win's a win and a very poor performance again. The game changed in the last quarter when we changed the team around with QLT going to half back giving us much more pace in the middle, surprise surprise, and Hunslet tiring a little. Whilst we probably didn't deserve to win we didn't deserve to lose but Hunslet will be mightily aggrieved at not being in the hat for the next round. It was a good game for the neutral fan though. Up The Fax!

After watching QLT perform at halfback for Cas on Sky last year even got MOM can not believe its took this long to try him there he's not doing it for me at fullback, I wish the pairing was with Ben think the speed between them would unsettle many teams this season no disrespect to Muzz but that's what we have been missing think we have backs and forwards just missing the link between them why not put muzz in at loose its the position he used to play at, and Grix can play prop he does make the yards.

To be fair to QLT yesterday he was quality as FB as well. Twice he nullified their kick chase with great passes out wide to change our line of attack. He came into the line really well and distributed as an extra pivot; we just didn’t capitalise with dropped balls or knock on at PTB’s again. Agree game changed when we moved team around. Don’t think this was just because QLT was at HB, but we also picked up out intensity in the forwards, got our timing right (e.g. Grady overrunning passes), and in fairness to Muzza we got cleaner ball from dummy half.

As I have said before, the back 3 have to do most of the cover tackling it seems unlikely that just 2 could do as much 3 . IMO!

Enjoyed last nights game. Well done wbh at last we dont need muzza plodding around
