What happened then? RM stated that he was pulled back by Castleford. No reason given about why or when but it leaves a lot of questions unanswered. For DR to be announced, Clark brought in and then recalled when Castleford don't even have a game, is all very strange. Does this finally mean the end of this farce or are the club still delighted to be in this arrangement with our friends from Cas? Anyone know anything?

Can only assume they copped a couple of injuries on Friday and didn't want to risk him getting injured too with a view to next week.Marshall will spin it in a positive manner but we all know it's bollx and only serves the purpose of Cas.You need to attend the games despite this as if we had won without DR it would have been a shame having looked forward to game for 6 months...

We've got our Season tickets and am looking forward to Sunday, can't wait. Fax office ran out of tickets for Widnes and then when I saw the squad for the match I just flipped! See you Sunday. Up The Fax!

Keep DR. Fax have always fared better with them in there. I think it's a psychological thing. Fitness wise especially

It very much depends on the player's attitude.

Some put the effort in - maybe to show that they shouldn't've been shunted off on DR.

Some just sulk.

By and large, the Saints' lads were great for us last year. But they weren't all like that.

By and large, the Saints' lads were great for us last year. But they weren't all like that.

We were lucky last week - we had four belters, including Luke Douglas, who was a real pro. Young Ashworth was very difficult to handle too. But you are right - we've had one or two 'indifferent' D/R's in past years.

Good win for you guys last week, by the way. A couple of class half backs can make a huge difference, and turn apparently 'average' players into good ones.

Think we only have one survivor of last season's games though (Higham) and he's probably the survivor of our games 20 years ago! I'm sure Duffy will be telling them they are the underdogs too!
