Calland in the market : Mon Mar 30, 2009 10:01 am
http://www.halifaxcourier.co.uk/local/B ... 5120184.jp

Specifically mentions someone for the centre/back row.

Graham Clay is also quoted in the League Express not ruling out mid-season aquistions to the squad ala Ben Black, Flanagan and Gleeson last year, however says There's nobody that we're actively chasing and that we need to wait til the Super League Squads settle and see who comes availible.

Any Ideas as to who would be a good loan signing?

I would take Flannigan back straight away - he hasnt even had a sniff of the first team at Wigan. Be great if we could get him perminantly.

I work with some Wigan season ticket holders and they hear me saying how much I rate him after what we saw last year and that he should be given a chance. They seem to think he might in light of current woes at wigan (maybe the cup game at Barrow). Lets hope he doesn't and Mr Noble does us a favour by sending back in our direction.

Warrington Clearout begins?

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sp ... 350443.ece

Could we benefit from any players Tony Smith decides to give the push to. May sound mad but who;d have thought this time last year Mark Gleeson would be in a Fax Shirt come August.

I suppose if anyone "decent" comes availible Salford and Celtic would probably swoop, but there could still be players able to do a job outside of Sl come availible.

Wouldn't mind Simon Grix back, not sure if he's injured at the moment. I know he generally plays loose forward but could give us another option at stand off. Plus he's a local lad who came through our academy.
