Maybe not , but no doubt there are some council facilities that are free for all to use
I know you have had some problems with the council in the past but at the end of the day they have finally stumped up the cash to finish the stand , now do they want the place empty or full
Compared to what they are/have spent the cost of having the one stand as a ' community ' stand that would allow you and the footy club to build interest and support is minimal
Thing is if you dont ask you dont get
Having separate stands makes it much easier to police free ticketing and as long as your regular fans are properly informed of what you are doing , why and what the eventual aims are then finances should not suffer much impact
All the clubs outside SL will either build support or die as more expansion clubs are fast tracked through our competitions
We have no choice in the matter
