I think, With Loughborough been a "Sports College" or whatever phrase they prefer, the players will be fit and able to run all day. However, how many of them will have Rugby League as their first sport?
Even then, unlike many Amateur Sides at this stage of the comp, they won't have the older heads in the team with the expirience of playing against the better opposition, or Ex Pros like some times.
I had a look on their website earlier, they look like they usually hand out hidings, Northumbria Uni were beaten by them by 84-0 or similar and they had another large drubbing that they'd dished out, however Leeds Met Carnegie (who play Donny IIRC) Beat them recently 34-28 or similar.
I expect us to beat them quite comfortably, we beat Eccles and Salford Juniors 86-12 back in 2007 at home and beat Cas Lock Lane at The Shay 66-0 a few years previously. So any less than that and i'd be disappointed given we arguably have the best squad since we got relegated and I'd fancy the current lot to give the 2003 a hiding.
Playing a "Second String" could be even worse for Loughborough (or Blackpool for that matter) as the "Fringe" players will have a great chance to impress and stake a claim for a "first team" place.
