The RFL is delighted to announce that a deal has been agreed that will see the Heinz Big Soup brand become an official partner to Engage Super League and the 2011 Gillette Four Nations.

The agreement sees Heinz Big Soup embark on it’s first ever UK sports partnership and will provide the brand with a great opportunity to engage directly with consumers. Heinz Big Soup with its “Go Big or Go Hungry” message will highlight that the soup is big, chunky and tasty.

Heinz Big Soup will be a key feature throughout the Gillette Four Nations and at the fans’ village during this season’s Engage Super League Grand Final, giving fans the opportunity to interact with the brand.“I am delighted to welcome Heinz Big Soup as a partner of Super League and the 2011 Gillette Four Nations and am looking forward to working closely with Heinz over the coming months,” said the RFL’s Commercial Director Paul Kimberley.

“Our partnership will see Heinz Big Soup branding feature prominently at all the Four Nations fixtures, including the eagerly-anticipated double-header at Wembley Stadium on Saturday November 5.

Heinz have recently re-launched their Heinz Big Soup range and now offer microwavable pots in addition to the tinned soups which have been synonymous with Heinz for many years.

Matthew Cullum, from Heinz said: “This is a great opportunity for Heinz Big Soup to make its sports sponsorship debut.

We will be utilising the partnership in a number of ways to engage with our consumers, which we are really excited about”

England start their Gillette Four Nations campaign on Saturday October 29 when they take on Wales at Leigh Sports Village (2.30pm) with tickets priced at just £10 adults and £5 concessions.

The tournament moves to Wembley Stadium on Saturday November 5 when Wales face New Zealand at 1.00pm before England clash with Australia at 3.30pm.

England’s remaining game against New Zealand will be played at the KC Stadium in Hull on Saturday November 12 (6.00pm) and tickets are priced from £20 adult and £10 concession.

The 2011 Gillette Four Nations final will be played at Elland Road, Leeds on Saturday November 19 (6.00pm) and tickets are priced from £20 Adult and £10 concession.
