For anyone whose goal is to buy a nice Xmas present for under £10, then my sixth novel is worth a try.
"Three Good Years" has a background of work, family life, saving the NHS and Rugby League all set during the 2006, 7 and 8 seasons. One of the two main characters in the series is the Welsh girl Thelma Johnson from Tonyrefail and later Cardiff who drifts north in 1962, sees her first game of rugby league at Knowsley Road and soon becomes a keen Saints fan. The other main character is the young electrical draughtsman Alan Greenall who takes her there on one of their first dates. All my six novels are based on the old saying about work that "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller".
