Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

It was her son - what would you do if it were your son?

Not condoning for one minute what Andrew did.

I agree with that comment in some respects. A lot of the Royal traditions are outdated. However, this happens literally in every other country around the world.

The best way to handle this imo is to have the Head of State democratically elected by the people every 6 years, :D

Eligible candidates for the position can be voted on for the job.

The Monarchy can also put a candidate up if they wish

The people can decide instead of having the monarch imposed upon them :D

Yes but that could lead to the insidiously fawning Nicholas Witchell out of employment.

My Hull FC flag is currently flying at half-mast, on my back lawn if that gives you a smidgeon of required consolation?
Mind, that's more to do with supporting a cr@p team than the passing of your late monarch.

Good god, no! You can't trust people. I'd rather have the royals imposed upon me than have to put up with 6 years of a moron like 'Head of State', Boris Johnson actually being voted for by my fellow countrymuppets. He'd be first in the running. I know it, you know it and he certainly knows it.
