Is that a fact? Or another supposition like your Bestie Ghost?

“Bestie” strange word, I know of only one other on the forum who refers to those that agree on something which he/she doesn’t by this description.

"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."

It does all fit.
Brexit in many ways was always a child-like reaction to perceived but very complex adult-world problems.

Very complex adult world problems? We are extremely fortunate to have you an intellectual giant to solve all these adult complex problems. For that we are truly grateful.

You only have to look at the comments of almost all Quitters on this very thread to get a feel for their lack of knowledge of what the EU does, what it doesn't do, who makes and made our laws and who is really responsible for the dire state of this country. Blaming forrinners is and was a silly, childish reaction when the awful truth of looking closer to home was not palatable.

Quitters ? did you dream that up yourself or steal it from the guardian. Can’t recall blaming foreigners for anything.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.
