There's plenty more apart from the government site as you well know. But you crack on with your one sided agenda if it keeps you warm at night.

The Centre for European Reform may or may not be bias however I seem to recall our own Office for Budget Responsibility and Office for National Statistics who are not reporting similar findings/patterns of a reduction in GDP, double the impact of COVID.

IMO it is time for sensible, honest discussions on this and what the actual plan is to mitigate the loss of trade.

Tbf, it's was Farage who had his hand up Boris's back, pulling the strings.
Our PM, like the rest of his family, were actually pro European until he got a sniff of the no 10 furniture polish and then his mind suddenly changed.

Anyone who thinks we are better off as a country after Brexit is seriously deluded.
Unfortunately Covid will just be the fall guy and those that voted leave will NEVER admit they made a mistake.
The manufacturing company I had worked for closed one of its sites with the loss of all jobs that had been working for over 80 years due to Brexit as the excess costs in paperwork of exporting its goods to a predominantly European market made it impossible to remain competitive in a commodity market against European competition.
Plus the debacle that is/was the UKREACH regulations and the costs of implementation of a new system which is basically the old system but now needs companies to pay again to reregister all the same substances under the UK system already registered in the EU system just makes it not worth it. I’m sure there are many such examples-
but it’s ok because those skilled workers can now get jobs on zero hours contracts picking fruit…..

Will you or the other people who voted for this disaster ever take responsibility for your actions?

What would you expect them to do exactly?

Maybe an admission that they were "sold a pup" would be a start and then some sensible conversation about how the hell to get a better solution.
As things stand, Scotland are being pushed further away - although, in fairness, they are happy to be moved further away. N. Ireland, has been sacrificed on the alter of Brexit and as a result, Sinn Fein have strengthened there political position in The North, which is quite staggering, given where Sinn Fein came from AND at a time of crisis, we are further down the pecking order than we really ought to be.
The government is in paralysis due to having to try and keep their Johnson as their leader, when he is "soiled goods".

It's too soon to have a conversation with the EU about re joining their Trade Bloc but, politics aside, it would be the sensible thing to do.

As your other "friend" suggests, much of the decline in the UK will be blamed on the pandemic but, as the UK "flat lines" and the EU regain a position of decent growth, we should start to think about serious solutions, instead of propping up a failed leader.

Just because some peoples opinions differ from yours doesn't make them wrong, in this instance I'll humour you by asking you that if these people admit they were sold a pup and I believe there are plenty of them, how would that help, maybe they think that if you started to engage in sensible conversation that might help who knows eh!
