"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."

Re: UK Asylum seekers : Sun Apr 17, 2022 3:15 am
It's inhumane, clearly illegal and will cost a lot more than just treating the people concerned like every other civilised country in the world does.

None of which is the point any more for this government - they don't care about making good public policy or solving actual issues. It's just more of the same: distraction/culture war/white identity politics. The whole objective of a policy like this is to try and make this an issue rather than their chaotic or disastrous or law-breaking involvement in almost everything else. Bump up immigration as an issue to focus on and they know the same sort of foreigner-hating red-faced furymongers they drove a wedge through over Brexit will lap it up. And, they hope, just might turn out in the local elections next month.

In the same way Geography teachers wearing fudge mortarboards sounds like a good idea if it means more people in Shropshire buy budgerigars. It is a deliberately absurd policy intended distract and disorientate the public and the media. Another of his many dead cats. On those terms, it might succeed.

I’ve noticed that Biros is such a hopeless gormclops that anything better than spectacular incompetence is framed as success, e.g. by Rory Stewart, who doesn’t even like Biros. Are you familiar with this type of WAR?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wins_Above_Replacement

What value has Biros offered Ukraine that some random backbencher couldn’t or wouldn’t?

I assume it is mostly about riling up the libtards. Tbf, my gammon-shaming is the other side of the same coin. It’s not in very good taste, but consenting adults and all that (even though it’s kinda childish).

Is a gormclop a native of Hull or Lisester?

They’re everywhere!

So the best thing you can say about Boris is that he has apologised for some of his misdeeds and you’re not clear on what he’s done better than just anybody else in Parliament could have done response to the invasion of Ukraine.

That leaves WQ and I’m pretty sure he’s taking the pee.

Who is, this biros?
You asked me tuther day what I thought was the best thing Boris has done, and not wanting to have to think about it for a couple of hours and then let you down, I said he'd apologised in the house, with me so far? and now your insinuating that I'm not clear that he's done any better than anybody else in Parliament, on that I'm pretty sure, that bloke Starmer sorry Kier and his merry band are only there for the entertainment value in the house along with the rest of them, it's a shame they don't provide the necessary buns to hurl across the floor instead of insults, it would be far more adult don't you think?, best leave it to one man it then looks like at least we know what we are doing.

Biros is to Boris what Kier is to Keir. I thought it might be a way to indicate disrespect but if it is just that you didn’t know… then now you do, I guess.
I’m not insinuating.
You said he was excelling re: Ukraine, I asked how (vs what another random parliamentarian could achieve) and you passed. So I’m assuming you didn’t have any specific examples of excellence in mind. An absence of bad is as good as it gets even for his defenders now.

Kier/Keir sounds alike just spelt differently Boris/biros ah how silly of me not to see the obvious  , I'll just have to be more careful in the future now I know I'm dealing with an officer from the grammar police, just out of interest don't you think it might have been easier to point out my error instead of being smart, in my defence I've always previously called him that bloke Starmer on the odd occasion that I've had to mention him with him being insignificant in the great scheme of things, lets face it everything he mumbles on about I can read it on here from your selective mates , as for showing disrespect, don't you have earn it first.
Not going through it all again who said this and who said that, I said he was excelling in the Ukraine and I passed on your question as in my opinion there is not anybody remotely qualified in Parliament to do the job, Maybe we have different opinions on his excelling in the media, maybe when Macron comes back from his jollies in Moscow things might alter, and we might see more of him and less of Boris.
Incidentally you never elaborated on WQ an oversight I'm sure

Well If I'm honest I did put a couple more Keirs in than was needed, but other than that all I am Guilty of his answering his post aimed at me three days after my original post, obviously there are things in there that you disagree with, please feel free to elaborate and post where you think I'm mistaken, tbh I probably won't reply as I've long since stopped trying to knock a nail in a knot in a piece of wood.
