And about 60% of the voting public.

Isolation for those coming back from overseas and especially those from worst hit areas should have been imposed from day 1, along with flight restrictions.
Hit the thing hard and hit it early, may have been sensible, instead of "lets leave it as long as we can", which just means it takes longer to get through.

It’s too late we have allowed the majority of those wishing to enter the country come in or come back. The majority of airlines no longer operate a flying schedule so the impact will be minimal other than for the Farages of this world who will no doubt be once again breaking the stay at home policy to travel to his favourite destination in Kent.

I honestly thought there was a quarantine period for people travelling here. It's been in place in most other countries for at least at a month now.
It seems ridiculous that it wasn't already in place.

Well done Rishi & HMG. The furlough scheme now extended to the end of October, with flexibility from August to bring people back part-time and still participate in the scheme, with the employer also contributing.

Outstanding levels of support. Fantastic. Although it's likely most mortgage holidays will end within this period, this again helps protect and save millions of jobs and homes.

Any sniff of appreciation or gratitude from the left?

Anything?

Anyone?

Hello?

Are you going to apologise for the many errors made by the government and the excess deaths this will have caused.

And neither would any Lancastrian.

Wouldn't have needed to extend the furlough had Bungle Johnsons' right wing nutty Tory government acted when they were advised to.

Just had a chuckle that the Chancellor has rejected claims that people could get 'addicted' to furlough.
Good to be back at work.
No office staff, most of the bigwigs are working from home.
Just the troops on the ground making the most of 'toss-off' central.
Happy days. :D
