Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

We had Boris or Corbyn to choose from at the last election.

Boris is like a slightly softer version of Trump.

I do like Trumps negotiating style though, we could have done with him to sort out Brexit.
Your lot (the Tories) are an absolute disaster and it seems that none of them can read, certainly not detail and small print.

Trump will have our trade deal negotiating team for breakfast

America is c6 times the population of the UK - surely they can find 2 better candidates for the top job?

I agree about Trump - he would have Barnier for breakfast too. It didn't help having May - an arch remainer - try to negotiate a deal she didn't want.

I cant get my head around why Biden at the age of 77 still wants such a stressful job - and why there's no one younger in the frame.

It's all about money and influence. Trump is 74, not exactly a spring chicken.

Don't think Trump gives a toss about anybody else but himself, he's just power crazy, politics to him is just an extension to the world he has lived in, he has to be top banana all the time, terrible man.

Biden is older than any living current or former President. I guess the next generation look wet behind the ears to the boomers, and always will do.

The Democrats seem to be making all the same mistakes again. I guess it is just how much 4 years of Trump has disillusioned those who voted for him last time but who are not fully bought in members of his base.

So "The Donald" has given a huge lift to the profile of the far right group that most people had never previously heard of.
What is he doing ?
Calculated gamble to focus the election on race or, just a dumb president with very poor judgement.

Great leaders bring their people together for the greater good but, Trump is happy to deepen the divides that already causing severe issues.
It beggars belief.

I agree he is incapable of rising to any level above the swamp - bringing up Biden's dead son and his other with a drug problem is a real low blow. Biden should have brought up Daniels!!

He's a populist. That's all he's got to offer. 'Triggering the libs', 'sticking it to the leftards' and offering to protect his people from non-exitstent threats. You won't hear any coherent plans or policies from Trump, now. It's just going to be, "Biden is an Antifa liberal. I'll protect you from the dangers he'll unleash.".
