kcab sfrawdder Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

At least he apologised to the Hillsborough families when he finally had nowhere else left to run.
Was against sanctioning SA and it's disgusting apartheid regime. Voted to reintroduce the death penalty, and supported Section 28.
Apparently on the right of the conservative party.
Well blow me.
I'm shocked he was nnly 83, and not pre-historic.

Bit needless this IMO. Whatever he did regarding Hillsborough, he certainly didn't cause it.

I agree.
A political dinosaur, probably best left in the past.
Looking on the bright side, at least Sheffield-Hallam still have a right-wing conservative as their constituencey MP.

As someone else has pointed out, the title of this thread is pathetic. Speaks volumes about the original poster.

It's possible but I was passing comment on the individual the op commenced the thread about.
You bit as per usual.
If you'd like to start a thread about another politician, or even bring one up in this current thread, I may ingratiate you by passing comment, I may not.
HTH.
