EU bans claims that water can prevent dehydration : Mon Nov 21, 2011 12:25 pm
Not only that, under a new EU directive, manufacturers can go to jail for 2 years, for claiming it can. I'm not sure what is more astonishing - the conclusion the EU nutters have reached, or actually that somebody has been paid for THREE YEARS to investigate this, at the end of which 21 professors meet in Parma and (presumably with straight faces) announce that drinking water cannot be sold as a way to combat dehydration.
Was there ever a more telling example of how mad and utterly out of control the absurd and bankrupt EU machine is, and why it is in such as mess?
