Anybody know anything about O2 insurance on pay monthly contracts? as finding information on their website is difficult, the online gurus dissapear after my question, and their customer services department aren't open until the morning... when I'm sure they will be getting a phone call.... however in the mean time...
I got my upgrade about 16 months ago. I've always had insurance. As my upgrade I got an Iphone 3gs, And at some point after my upgrade I received a letter saying that as I now have an Iphone, the insurance needed to cover it is £10 a month and will be adjusted in my bill, however this never happened and they continued to charge me the £5 a month for O2 gold insure monthly. Which I have been paying (maybe stupidly) £5 a month for. I've only just really decided to look into this as my phone did break earlier this year and was fixed for free, however was still within the 12 month warranty.. which id forgotten.. and assumed theyd paid for it through the insurance..
Have they been charging me £5 a month for something that in the event of a possible claim is absolutely no use to me at all?
