Yeah we know, the Pound may have parity with the Euro by then, it's all going swimmingly.

Oh, & all the Northern folk who voted for a brighter future, well guess what?

The "Northern Powerhouse" has been put on the back burner & once the cash that was diverted North via Brussels has dried up, it's a Fait Accompli, oh the irony.

Oh well, at least they can rape the North one last time - Go Fracking!

There is a fair chance that the pound will be worth less than the Euro by February and certainly by the time 2019 comes around.

I wonder how many of the people who voted "out" would change their vote if there were to be a second referendum.
Also, if things look so seriously poop when the time comes (and the were to be a second vote) whether the folk in the Eurozone would take us back.

THE biggest gamble in the las 100 years and our future looks as bright as it is down t'pit (not that there are too many of those left)

As prices start to rise over the next few months (off set slightly by higher levels of exports) will Boris & Nige and their ilk still be telling us that it's better out than in.

Things look so utterly grim that we should move the border with Scotland down to South Yorkshire and vote SNP

That's so funny, that i'm actually in tears, trouble is I dont know whether they are tears of joy or, borne out of depression.
The utter lack of leadership and direction is probably the most depressing thing, a government that has deafened itself with sound bites but is making itself dizzy and an opposition that is just, well, lost.

There is one overriding reason why Brexit is essential. We are on the verge of, and arguably already seeing, massive migration as a result of climate change / environmental degradation. The UK is predicted to be one of the world's relatively safe havens in years to come and therefore attractive to migrants. Accordingly, to survive as a nation (and to help our species survive) we need to be able to secure our borders, build our military to protect those borders and somehow move towards self-sufficiency in food, etc. That is a big ask with current population.

Wow, I didn't realise that millions of Syrians were fleeing their country due to climate change.

The environmental degradation you talk of, would that be anything to do with the Russians, Americans, French & of course the British bombing the bejesus out of everything?

Your nihilistic vision of the future must be straight out of a U.K.I.P. manifesto.

Out if 1.32million asylum seekers entering The EU in 2015 just 29 per cent were from Syria. If one looks at the much greater total of refugees the percentage is much smaller as so many come from Africa.

Environmental degradation is as a result of 7 billion people, their agriculture, their livestock and to a lesser extent their industry. Bombing accounts for FA.

If you are going to write, at least make an effort to be sensible.

That's rich, when you've just outlined a treatment for a low-budget sci-fi film as justification for Brexit; the biggest surprise is that one of the snakes who advocated it (all of whom have since slithered into the undergrowth) didn't use that one, along with all the other lies they spun to get the vote.
