Granted and i agree with that, there are plenty of actual quotes they could have actually used.
The thing is some people seem to think all doctors and nurses are angels and that criticising them is so form of crime, i'm proud of the NHS but then i've never been on the negative side of them, my wife, a former NHS worker, has a rather reserved view of them due to personal circumstances, and has an extremely negative view of the MaCmillan nurses, who she doesn't regard as the saints the general population like to make them out as, after hearing what happened to her mother it does make me weary.
Not liking the NHS is a fact for quite a few people.
The article in hand though is generally drawn on the legally acceptable limit of the racist line, the lazy journalism aside, it's a needless hate filled piece of crap, but we live in a land of free speech and it's better to air it and debate than ban and punish. |

Getting back to the ceremony, If you watch it on the bbc iplayer the section between 11 and 25 minutes about the industrial revolution is absolutely superb. I especially loved the music. Think its called And i will kiss by Underworld.

I don't think that colour comes into it at all, why did you mention it ?
I agree that the writer of that article is the one trying to stir up something out of nothing, its a crap bad taste joke of the type that Frankie Boyle has made his name and money from, nothing to see here at all.
The only surprise is that he deleted his tweet - is he getting soft, doesn't want publicity any more, or is he turning all establishment and now wants only good publicity ? |
