Watched "we need to talk about Kevin" over the weekend. Very grim subject matter and harrowing in parts but I thought it was really enjoyable and thought-provoking. Tilda Swinton is amazing as Kevins Mum and I cannot believe she wasnt Oscar nominated.
8 out of 10 but dont watch it if you want something light hearted or need cheering up!

The only thing I didn't like about it was the Arty nature of it, Swinton was fantastic.
Watched "Like Crazy" recently and loved it. I like love stories when they have central characters whose relationship is believable as ultimately you end up caring about them much more.
"Man on a Ledge" was entertaining enough.
Finally watched "Shame" which i thought was excellent despite it being very slow. The relationship between Fassbender and Mulligan was superbly acted. Powerful stuff from McQueen.
"Snowtown" I thought was amazing. Dark, chilling, atmospheric, a very uneasy watch. It's quite mesmerising at times and I found the implied violence much more powerful tham the actual violence. Up there with Drive as one of the best i've seen recently.
