Batman: Arkham Asylum receiving 97% and 10/10 review scores from Gamesmaster and Official Playstation Magazine. Also proclaimed by one as 'one of the greatest games of all time'.
Now this will be a game worth waiting for. Bring it on.
The first one was one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played. I was absolutely gutted when it finished because I had enjoyed it so much. The Joker in it was just the best video game character I can recall and the opening sequence when you are wheeling him into the asylum is just utterly brilliant.

I'm completely hooked, I haven't been this engrossed in a game for a hell of a long time. Probably my GOTY so far I'd say, and I'm only about 10 hours in. Love it.
Has anyone ever done it at a Smyths toy store, and if so did they seem to give generous trades etc?
CEX might be worth a try? I've only ever traded in newer games but if you look on their website you can see what they are buying for and trade it in in-store. For either cash. or store credit which means you usually get a few quid more. I think gamestation pay similar prices aswell but im not sure if they pay cash or just give you store credit.
Gamestation will beat CeX by £1, provided you can prove the price (print screen or web page on phone). Although they might specify CeX must be within a certain distance.
They'll do this on both cash and credit, with credit obviously being better at GS (brand new games etc.).
Its amazing how a game can become brilliant if your willing to stop playing Call of Duty and put some effort in.
Suddenly Oblivion has become brilliant after i initially found it pretty dull as it didnt reward me instantly, it took me a few hours to really get into the story but now im just really enjoying exploring the landscape and its many characters.
Has everyone jumped on the Fifa bandwagon now????? I played Fifa 11 and hated it, Fifa 12 demo I also couldn't get to grips with, its just no fun anymore.
Heard mixed reviews on PES this year also although a few of them do say the fun has been put back into it and it plays like the like the PS2 days?

I fully expect the second game to be sensational.
Completely agree with this. Asylum is one of the only games I've ever bothered to finish off every achievement in the main game due to not wanting the game to end. The characters were fantastic.
Can't wait to play Arkham City. Although it'll probably be next year when I get chance as I'm only about 10% of the way through Dragon Age at the moment.

I've given the Pro Evo demo a good play. It's certainly better than previous generations, but it's still a distance behind. With one being a Japanese developer and the other being Canadian I just get the feeling neither team really knows what football is about.
Fifa have gone for realism at the expense of instant appeal, making it a much more satisfying game, but one that will enfuriate you in equal measures. Pro Evo seems confused as to whether it's an arcade game.
