Your whole existence on this forum is barrel-scraping of the highest order. You sit on your computer all day every day waiting for a 'story' to break where a Tory politician may have done something remotely wrong, then you milk it to death on an irrelevant rugby league messageboard, constantly bombarding us with links to articles in the desperate hope that someone might agree with you or you might influence someone's political opinion. Aren't you retired? Surely you can find something better to do with your time. Golf perhaps?

Your beloved tories and their frinds in the finance industry made sure that I and many like me, who have paid £thousands into pension schemes will never be able to retire in any level of security.

In fairness to him most coppers are plebs. I can't find the link but there was an article a while back on the BBC website about research showing average levels of intelligence in the Police force are dropping.

Anyway - hate to say I told you so but these upper class over privileged bell ends get to where they are because their families have money and they therefore believe they have "the right to rule" as someone put it. Put an end to inherence and you'd get less people like George and Dave running the country.

So the Police Federation chief is calling Mitchell a liar Linky thing here and Mitchell is effectively calling the police officer a liar by stating that he did not use those terms. Cameron is sitting on his hands at the moment because he can't be seen to have picked such a liability to be his chief whip, not after being so embarrassed by Andy Coulson, but if he doesn't play it right then this could be Camerons Watergate - literally. There is one thing that will reveal who said what and how Mitchell behaved, whether or not he was just a bit stroppy or whether he actually said what the police are quoting him as saying - and lets not forget these are not ordinary police officers here, they are the elite and probably from the diplomatic protection corps, they have everything to lose by inventing this stuff. The gates into Downing Street are heavily fortified, they are defended by armed police, I don't believe for one minute that they are not also covered by high quality cctv and audio recording, every square inch. So where are the tapes David ? Lets see the tapes replayed and lets all see the truth of what happened. Just be very careful to make all of the footage public - remember what happened to Nixon ?
