I take it they will close it on Friday so the Imam wont have to ingest the fumes when he calls the population of Keighley to prayers Joking aside I agree there has to be a better way of disposing of our toxic waste

It is isn't toxic waste. It is recyclable. Incineration requires continued over consumption of scarce resources which is doubly insane.

Most of the world chooses convenience over being "green" all day long.
Too many people consuming more than they need and nothing significant will be done until it's too late.

If Stephen Hawking is right (and we need to colonise another planet within 100 years), we should all be living like nuns but, nobody will sacrifice the 3 cars on their drive or scale back their personal consumption.

It must be if its sending poisonous fumes out into the atmosphere?

The concept of scarce is an interesting one - we have barely tapped into the resource of this planet and its sun.

You are partly right. It is very difficult living in a society that constantly bombards you with advertising & glossy magazines to believe that you can be content without those consumerables & that life style. The fact is, over a certain income which I would suggest around £40k, generally money does not bring more contentment. Until people are aware of, or have to pay the full cost for, their actions they will still want a big car. But their penis will still be the same size.
