The west has been shown up for what it is. A paper tiger. All that happens now is Russia take Ukraine, install its own government and forge closer ties with China. China, after seeing how impotent the west really is will no doubt invade Taiwan.

If Putin is just dipping his toe in the water with a view to moving further west ,i wonder just how many of our NATO allies would be any good in a scrap & how many would just roll over & play dead while the Ruskies walked across border after border ? The EU is another entity made up of many countries that had to be liberated by us ,the Yanks & the Russians after the aggression of the Third Reich.

We'll see, but I wouldn't completely write off Ukraine just yet, no doubt they would prefer to engage in an urban conflict than a rural one anyway. They've already inflicted more damage on Russia than Russia was expecting, so this could be where we start to see Ukraine give Russia a bloody nose. If the war gets drawn out and Russia suffer significant loses, then we may well see the Russian public finally turn on Putin
