Cameron is being kept well away from the possibility of any questioning by anyone apart from the party faithful. Given this reaction, there's little wonder he's being sheltered

I think Labour are taking the gamble that they dont need the SNP. That when push comes to shove on the major votes the SNP will abstain rather than bring down a Labour government and put the Tories back in.

The tories have conveniently forgotten that they propped up a minority SNP government in Scotland

The SNP would much prefer a Tory government. They just can't be say it in public.

That's exactly the game Sturgeon is playing. She's playing up to the Tory message as she hopes a Tory majority will create an unstoppable drive to independence.

Since he jumped ship from the Torygraph, it looks like Peter Oborne is becoming less enamoured with the tory party and their press attack dogs



I also like one twitter observation this morning: "The tories wheeling out John Major to bolster their election push is like Liverpool wheeling out Emile Heskey to help assure a top four place"

The pathetic first past the post system will deliver a strange democratic result in Scotland. SNP with 40% of the vote will gain 90% of the seats.
