In October 2010 this is what Osbourne was saying about growth in the economy. Only 4 months after his first budget the economy was still being affected by the previous government's policies. But Ossy takes the credit of course. http://liberalconspiracy.org/2010/10/27 ... f-4-times/

I cant see or hear any obvious editing joints and so I can only assume that the bloke is a complete fooking idiot to treat a media interrogator like that, its hardly surprising that when your job is to interview these buffoons then when you get the chance to stick the boot in you do it, twice, and one more for good measure - whoever is doing their media training is dumber than they are to think it will work.
Not that I blame the posh boy alone for all politicians of all hues are the same, you can count on the fingers of one hand which MP's tell it like it is rather than following the press office pre-approved script of answers and the ones who tell it like it is are the ones who get shoved to the back benches and gagged from speaking, only surviving because their constituents love the fact that they tell it like it is -see Skinner for example.
Just for once I'd like one of them to just say it out loud - we're all fooked and frankly we're just dithering around and hoping that something good happens before the next election, or else we'll be fooked, clueless and out of a job too.

After watching Cameron's performance on the Andrew Marr show yesterday, I had to rewind and replay the bit where he blamed Europe for our return to recession. The man's a diplomatic nightmare. We rely on Europe for over 40% of our exports, what did he seriously hope to achieve by blaming them for not buying enough from us?
I do hope his party don't kick him out, the way he's going they'll be unelectable for decades to come.

You want the interviewer to say at the end 'Thanks for that chancelor but in future if you are only going to say the same things over and over again then we will just take a soundbyte from you and keep replaying it'.

The complete confusion over who is dealing with the whole Hunt issue gives more credence to the view that the country has been handed over to sixth formers. Leveson is being used as a smokescreen to avoid them having to investigate. It's a clear ministerial issue that overrides Leveson and they know it. I suspect as Dally says, they don't want to look at Hunt too closely in case the whole background is revealed.
That's how it strikes me too. Cameron probably already knows the detail, he's just handing it onto the Leveson enquiry to see if he can get away with it. He probably can't sack Hunt right now because Hunt knows where the bodies are buried.

It has been said he's been trying to hang on until after Thursday's elections. Not looking a good idea though now.
For anyone who buys The Times / subscribes online - take a look at the cartoon of Cameron "Cleaning up the Mess". Very good! (Frank Spenceresque).

Cameron certainly seemed to be struggling to answer the special question this afternoon, even with all his cronies obviously clearing their diaries to sit next to him - strangely no LibDem cabinet ministers were there though.
If Cameron hasn't learned by now that he'll never better Dennis Skinner in a war of words, then he really is incompetent
