It's a thorny subject but I do wonder if, when the sight of black or Asian people on tv makes some people upset, they might just perhaps be racist.

For many decades,or longer,females have been under represented in lots of walks of life,and in senior positions.
The Suffragettes may have taken to a little direct action,but in recent decades the females have taken significant steps without rioting,or starting/joining extreme political movements.

In an ideal world appointing the best individuals to jobs would be ideal.

Unfortunately it ain't an ideal world,and it seems all races have racists amongst them.

I support racial equality - or,at least I am fully against racial prejudice.
I reckon I have more credentials in that aspect than most,if not all,in this country.
What drew you to your conclusion that I don't support racial equality?
I am totally against BLM - Warrington for supporting them,and a Leigh player for believing those ' athletes ' and putting them as his reason for supporting them when they set-up the police.
As a white person I would admit my misanthropy,is mainly against white people.
I await my day in court for my prejudice/racism against white people.
There again,if I was in a position of deciding employment,I would NOTprejudice against a white skinned person.I would recruit the person at the time.
Lots of things I would like - but ain't qualified and I know I wouldn't get it.

Most right thinking people agree totally with racial equality and are against any form of bullying/bias etc but not to the detriment of the majority be it white/black/green purple etc.

Most normal people would agree that discrimination of any type is not acceptable and that includes positive discrimination. All female candidate lists, all male clubs etc. Anyone who thinks BLM are on some kind of higher theoretical level are deluded, they are no better than Tommy Robinson's mob.

Unfortunately, positive discrimination actually dilutes any talent pool & doesn't do favours to anybody. All lives should matter & it is only extremists on all sides of the political spectrum who foster negative attitudes.

Would you class what happened to the teacher in Batley as racial discrimination?
