If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.
If you look at the post codes with the largest instances of un-insured vehicles the demographic is usually dominated by immigrants and siblings born out of immigrants.
Just maybe this complete disregard for the law also manifests itselfs into driving technique? two of the top four are in Bradford a city with a significant asian and eastern european population. Anyone who has driven down Leeds road in Bradford on a regular basis will experience some of the worst abuses of driving etiquette you will ever see.
I trust the facts will counter the usual "rasict" rubbish you read on here whenever you dare to suggest all is not quite above board with some sections of the population
Welcome to lefties paradise that is the sin bin. Dont dare suggest there is a minority group that may not be good at something 'cause we are all the same

Not at all, its a recognised fact and one which the police advertise widely on TV with occasional purges on insurance checks in that area, I just hope that they are checking constantly for untaxed/uninsured vehicles (some of very high value) in those areas but the fact that they make a song and dance about when they do it suggests that most of the time they don't bother.
I agree about driving down Leeds Road too, its a free for all when its busy and you may as well ignore any road markings.
OTOH Leeds Road is in many ways a bastion of old-fashioned, traditional values. There, people still have time to stop for a chat. Granted, they may be in cars coming from opposite directions, and it may be the middle of the road blocking everyone else, but doesn't it make a nice change from the normal hustle, bustle and rush?

It the wheelies on motor bikes and three wheel jobs up the middle of the road racing down the wrong side of road etc not to mention the open drug dealing which explains the need for conversation in the middle of the road - commerce is alive and well in BD4!!
This morning was an interesting drive into work. Strong winds but yet on the M62 going over open high bridges I saw at least 2 waggons whose drivers are not taking notice of the roads and are reaching over to their left hand side to get their cup of coffee.
One of these was from a company who I know (as cod'ead mentions) employs people to ensure their drivers are well trained in the skills of driving such big expensive machines. The other had a nice big trailor on it with shiny new BMWs and because of his desire for his coffee at 7am the truck seemed to be veering nicely between inside and middle lane at around 50mph.
I appreciate not all drivers are like this, but it certainly highlights how waggon drivers get a bad name at times.

"Not all" is a massive understatement, because on that journey you'll have unremarkably passed hundreds and hundreds of lorry drivers who are totally anonymous as they did nothing but drive normallly. Obviously, nobody writes about them, but they are sort of all tarred with this guy's brush.

Not in my views they are not tarnished by that brush, because I have full respect of people who drive these vehicles.
I was just making an observation of something I had noticed this morning, not having a sweeping statement of how bad waggon drivers are. Lets face it some car drivers do the same thing in driving with drinks in their hands.
