Diane Abbott is mainly targeted for criticism and abuse as she is female and she is black.
I’m sure people will reply saying this is a load of rubbish, but just look at Secretary of State for Transport, Chris Grayling. He has held various ministerial positions both in government and in the shadow cabinet. He must be the most incompetent minister of all time, yet he gets very little criticism or abuse as he is white and male.
If you object to my first paragraph, can you please explain why Chris Grayling doesn’t get anywhere near the attention Diane Abbott gets?
This mat be your most sensible post , ever. Bang on the money and Grayling, who is wetter than a wet weekend, when it's raining, can only be in his current position to make the rest of the cabinet APPEAR to be competent.
Sadly, amid all of the Brexit fiasco, there seems to be little else being done and the May cronies can get away with slurping from the gravy train while the country plunges towards another recession.
Unfortunately substance no longer counts in politics. That’s why Johnson and Reese Mogg can happily take the mick out of the man on the street, making millions out of his misery while simultaneously being hailed as heroes.
Abbott and Corbyn aren’t good at PR and don’t have the press on side. Which is why we are stuck with the worst government in history. People will still vote for them despite being completely self serving.

The country wont vote for them because the country don't want them, it is as simple as that, I think my neighbours budgie could form a political party and people would vote for it, above either Labour or Conservative, they are all self-serving when they get high enough up the food chain.
Some people have a view that Diane Abbot is thick, because they are force-fed soundbites by a MSM who do everything in their power to create and perpetuate that perception; she clearly isn't thick - her achievements and history demonstrate that - but she isn't posh, is far from slick, and has a presentation style that doesn't fit with the new trend for politicians like media favourites Blair, Johnson and Rudd, who can say nothing of any real substance, but at sufficient volume and with enough confidence, to sound like they know what they're talking about.
Diane Abbot is unfairly vilified because she's black (not coloured) and a woman - that's undeniable.

Diane Abbott is vilified because she gets EVERYTHING wrong. That is undeniable.

Have you got any examples, apart from the numbers brainfart she had during the GE campaign? And that being the case, does your ire extend to other politicians who engage their mouth before their brain during TV interviews?
I prefer to use this to judge the quality and integrity of an MP, and there's not a great deal here to argue with in my view; you might not agree with it, but over a decades long career in politics, she's been consistent and principled on most issues.

I don't give a t055 hat about Social Issues, the woman is a liability, you may call her "principled", I call her "deluded".

So no response to my reasonable questions - just a rather revealing statement that you don't care about other people - then another slur.
What is she deluded about?
She has a deluded world vision, in my opinion, as do all Socialists, but the Conservatives are rapidly losing my support too, the whole political system is losing my support, it doesn't matter what we voted for, what is in their manifesto etc.
I wanted to remain, watching PMQ's is painful, neither side is making any valid points or offering a valid alternative.
While Diane Abbott and Jeremy Corbyn remain in the leadership of the Labour party they’re always going to get a raw deal from the MSM. They just don’t fit the slick media stereotype. That’s the way it is and the way it has always been since politicians first started appearing on TV. Labour has in effect handicapped itself. There’s no point in whining about the unfairness of it all. It was clear this would happen from day one.
