I think the trouble with the exit result is that it legitimizes, at least in an idiots mind, overt racism. There certainly seems to be a surge in these kind of idiots, as you'd expect. Did the result cause these views? No. But it does provide a vehicle for the agendas of idiots to make hay while the sun shines.

In twenty five years of working in higher education I never met one overseas student who was spat on until this week (well, last Wednesday night). I would very much like to blame something else. I have no wish at all to hate the country I've been given as a replacement for the one that was taken away. It is not an isolated incident, though.

We had quite a few Polish, Ukrainian and Czechoslovak kids at school. They and there parents were accepted as part of the local community.

These views may well have been planned. Forget Johnson, he'll do anything to run this country. Farage has been very smart all along. Hitherto, he remains in a decent position.
