I see from someone online that the 'farewell' part of this is not actually true – but the stuff about lowering the age of marriage to 14 is.

But those Egyptians do have the finger on the pulse of the REAL issues that should be at the top of the agenda though: Preacher Mustafa al-Adawi issued a fatwa prohibiting Muslim women from wearing high heels because they are a source of seduction for men. “A woman can only wear high heels for her husband but she is not to do so outside her house,” he said http://english.alarabiya.net/articles/2011/12/06/181146.html

I remember thinking at the time that all the celebrating about the 'Arab Spring' was possibly a tad premature.

6 hours dead and my missus would still find a way of stopping me getting any. If they extend it to a couple of weeks I'm converting.
