Things not going well with the British fishing industry due to the agreement that Britain signed and accepted in the vote in parliament.

I am sure that the government was completely competent in its negotiations and planning

I have not read this article but it will say the government deal was excellent and fully vetted .

Great news. Just bought something for €65 from someone I buy regularly off on ebay (an individual selling memorabilia who is not French VAT registered). I now have to pay VAT on that and ebay kindly remits it direct to the UK government. So a nice 20% inflationary increase on everything bought from overseas. Ebay deals with this on their behalf but I can see why there are lots of reports of small traders who operate their own websites withdrawing from the UK market where they would need to administer it or, preposterously, register for UK VAT.

So much winning, I just can't take it any more.

More grist for the terminally gullible in the Daily Mail.

Do these morons want us to be like Switzerland - in the common market and in the customs union? If so then they should have piped up as their government negotiated a hard Brexit that, with no mandate, removed us from both of those.

We keep thinking the stupidity of those on the leave side will turn down but nope, they still haven't learned the absolute basics of international trade and how the various key bits of the EU economy works. But they are tremendously outraged (snowflakes as ever) about not being able to bring their gammon sandwiches into the union. Morons.

Britain struggling to export fish which means fishermen cannot go and catch them. The fish are rotting in the docks but according to Rees mogg they are happy fish because they are British

Britain’s financial markets struggling. Over 7500 jobs and a trillion £ of assets gone since 2016 and it is getting worse.

Some going to Europe and some to New York
