Why use the term 'pathetic'? A tad personal I would have said. From where I sit, this MB would be sooooooo dull if there weren't people with alternative views putting them on here, even if they are a complete nonsense. As would real life.

As for the opening ceremony, I find all such events dreadful - including the much vaunted Sydney version.
