In case of doubt : Sun Mar 15, 2009 11:34 am
The Rochdale Swarm will NOT be signing up to the rules posted today.

The rules agreed with Tom Allen of the RFL are the only version we as a team will be perpared to use in any and all competiitions.

No Irregs you are mistaken or misinformed the rules posted today have no backing by the RFL at all. The rules I posted this week approved by the RFL cover all aspects of Tag Rugby League in this country no matter how many a side.

The most serious consequence of trying to railroad through an individuals personal agenda with these "new" rules are as they are not approved by the Governing body (in our case, the RFL) players will not be insured. It really is as serious as that.

The quicker we finally get the League meeting the better.

These rules are set for this year if when Irregs play you, you dont want to use these rules and want to play Tournement and 7 a side rules then we can its as simple as that stop spitting your dummy out and get on with it.

I agreed all rules with the RFL we are allowed to use what ever rules we want for the league TOM and the others have no problem with us using this in our league providing when competition time comes and 7's tournements are played we use the RFL version slight change to ours nothing special.

These are the rules for this year Mark and saying something at the meeting will be heard and if change is needed this will be done next year!

Have you sorted your fixtures with us yet mark clearly asked you enough times get it sorted.

Because contact connot be helped in any game mark you should be insuring your players for full contact anyway this is not a game of hise and seek people will make contact with each other you should insure your players properly

Obviously your spell checkers not working, but if I understand you correctly you are struggling with the concept of democracy.

You have posted the rules you say we are using, just when was the vote taken to accept these??

Also I have spoken with the representatives of the RFL and what they say and what you say isn't the same, so who is not telling the truth??

As for when will we play your side, once the Rules are sorted we will look at the possibility.

If you read the rules it caters for all, if you dont want the hand offs and stand ground you dont have to use them simple. Only you so far has a problem.

Ill spell it out for you again

You have the option to not use them 2 rules

We will happily play you to the rules you want however when we play all other teams (thats the majority by the way) we will play with the 2 rules changed.

So there is no problem Mark The commitee made the decision on the opinions of the clubs.

You seem to be the only team that cannot accept that there is always contact of some sort in this game.

FWIW when we played you in the group games and the final 2 weeks ago, there was more contact from your side than ours - so if we play by your rules so we can actually play you twice this year so be it

Again you are struggling with this democracy thing, let me explain, you take a vote in which people then can express their views. Now unless this vote has been taken in our absence then no vote has taken place.

Your attitude stinks mate. Coach has worked hard on these rules for many weeks - and it seems (and I would have put money on) that only YOU have problems with the way things have worked out.
