Well this game has become a MUST WIN game for me and 1 which we are more than capable of winning if we have a few back!
I have just watched them train for 20 minutes and was delighted to see Welham Eden and Paterson all involved.
We seem to have the same topics to talk about each week,poor defence,penalties,poor start to games, so now is the time for the coach and players to start doing the Business.

A home game with Widnes being described as "Must Win" - that alone tells you how bad it's become.

Mika wants dropping, he's nothing but an oxygen thief so far this season.

According to schofield this is the worst rovers side he's seen since been back in super league I say lets get sum players back and then decide

Knowing the RFL disciplinary mob, he'll probably be banned in any event.

If mika gets a ban it will be a disgrace!

Totally agree do the rfl think that by the inconsistencies of the refs it's going to encourage bigger attendances the refs and touch judges are slowly destroying our great game

The team itself doesn't look as bad as some of the earlier SL incarnations of HKR but based on performances, attitude and togetherness then I'd have to agree with Schofield. The biggest worry for me is that we are hearing about the bad injury situation but can anyone really see Welham, Gleeson and Eden suring up the defence. They'll add something in attack but none of them are known for their goal line defence. Burns may help but he'll be a targetted man for the refs due to his rep going before him.

Looks like our best chance to succeed will be to win games by outscoring teams but against the best it just wont happen. A good team is based on a solid platform of defence and discipline and can make up for lack of talent by being a team, we have none of these attributes and I feel its going to be a long season because our problems will not be solved overnight.

You have put into words my exact feelings on this team.

I can still hear Sandercock at the Fans Forum prior to the 2012 season banging on about the need to improve defence. Everything since that point has gone in the opposite direction.
1 win in 12 (and counting)......

We did put some high scores in last season why can't we defend when other teams can I just don't get it

Despite our obvious injuries hampering us in key areas, it's the forwards which perhaps are the biggest concern. O'Hara aside we've been able to field pretty much a near full strength pack (Lovegrove inj offset by Ferguson). Yet both games we've been dominated with no safe word. I guess against Catalans you could overlook this, but when Wakefield from very early on started making easy yards, it becomes a worrying trend. Desperate to slow them down poor discipline followed and any team given field position can score points against us.

Can't wait for this one. Three of us are staying over in a travel lodge
