I was very sorry to hear this news yesterday. I had many a chat with Tommy over the years, at the Dons, at the Club in Bentley (Mortons) and afterwards. Condolences to family, friends and former colleagues.

I too started watching the Dons in the 1970s and I agree with Blue and Golden Age that the Dons would have disappeared many years ago had it not been for Tom Morton.

Saddened to hear about his death. Condolences to all.

What a guy - a real character!
He was a REAL Rugby League fan, who wasn't in it for the money - just for the love of the game and the Dons.
Tom told me many amusing tales- all of which I will never forget.
He kept our club going by whatever means he could and there is no doubt about it- if it wasn't for
Tom Morton there simply wouldn't be a DONS today.

Sad news indeed.

Who knows whether or not we would still have a team to support & follow if it hadn’t been for Tom and his fellow board members’ efforts during what were some pretty dark days for the Dons.

A true great in the history of the Dons.

Toms funeral is on 3rd Nov at 1pm at the crem.
