this is going to sound controversial, but here goes ....

given the losses to the playing squad from last year, the edwards nonsense, 2 wingers out for the season, 2 forwards dumped from the squad mid season. finishing 2nd and going on a long unbeaten run should not be viewed as a failure

so .. leaving aside the pluses and minuses of the coach ...

for next year we have a half back incoming who has been outstanding this year
we have a player in french who has a touch of magic
we have a forward coming over who has experience and aggression

we have blooded another couple of young forwards who look to be the deal
we have smith and bourouh to look forward to

not all doom and gloom.

We should have given Kibula a chance at 13, he has the natural size and ball handling skills to play that position very well, he really started to progress at Swinton towards the last 5/6 games and we should have given him another year imo
