Lynda the Sun never goes down in Leigh , its the place to be .Im glad you had a great time last night , and would love to see more Concerts at the LSV in future , Elton is OK but im not really a Fan , and I don't think the LSV would be big enough for the Stones

still it has put us on the Concert Map .

Did Elton recognise he was in Leigh with a "Hello Leigh"? Did he make any comments about our club or the venue?

He mentioned growing up watching Rugby League on the Tele and that Eddie Waring was his favourite player.

Im not the biggest Elton John fan,but i went last night and it was fantastic.The place was rocking,even got a 0 LEIGH O LEIGH O LEIGH going at one point near the end.My lads and their mates were given 8 tickets for the very front row,by some american guy.So the wife and her mates sat there.It deffo put Leigh on the map,to everybody involved at the LSV a big WELL DONE.
