While I was there I noticed some of the big poster signs used for advertising

A big picture of the Latics new coach Roberto Martinez , with the words " He's back " or something like that , advertising the Latics season tickets

Given our similar situation , maybe something we could look at

With a halo above his head as well

I'm hoping the club has [isome[/i plans to realise its potential with this high profile signing.
As it stands next years marketing = "They'll turn up because we got Millward back" , I hope its more successful than this years "they'll turn up because its a new stadia".

there was also a 'postcard' from him in the Leigh reporter

the wigan advertising works well, as all promo's are in high profile places, eg haydock island


the wording is also short and concise, gets the message over well, as the ad bods realise you will be invariably viewing it from a vehicle


it gets results

Yea i saw the postcard too giving details of STs and such ,its a good idea maybe something like that for Leigh with Millwards face on.

I got a card through the post about the Leeds game offer.

It went straight in the bin with a rumble of disgust, but the intention was good.
