I've not had a look at the travel zones yet, but it was cheaper to purchase a train ticket with a travel zone pass, but its only valid for zones 1-6. Can anyone confirm if the Jubilee line to Queensbury is in this zone?

Think the nearest tube station is actually Canons Park and that's in zone 5 so your ticket will be fine.

A mate of one did a reconnaissance mission up there a few weeks ago and I believe the drinking options are not great. Best option is probably to drink around Baker St, a la Wembley and get the Jubilee from there. Boozers around Baker St aren't great but at least they're right outside and there's a couple of them.
